European Solidarity Corps Volunteering in Rezekne, Latvia 2024
Join us as a volunteer in Rezekne, Latvia! We seek dedicated individuals passionate about working with children and youth, especially from disadvantaged backgrounds. Engage in cultural, artistic, sports, and leisure activities while making a positive impact.
As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Implement your own activities.
- Participate in events organized by the Center and other local institutions.
- Promote active participation in democratic life.
- Explore Latvian and other cultures, traditional cuisine, and outdoor activities.
Project Details:
- Type: European Solidarity Corps – ESC51-VTJ – Volunteering projects
- Start Date: September 1, 2024
- Duration: 9 months
- Requirements: Open-minded individuals aged 18 and above, ready to face challenges.
- Financial Support: Pocket money of 4€/daily + food support of 130€/monthly (around 250€/month).
- Accommodation: Free rental fee; shared bedroom (max. 2 volunteers per room) in a shared 2-bedroom flat.

About Eastern Latvia’s Center of Creative Services
Eastern Latvia’s Creative Services Center “Zeimuls” opened its doors on September 1, 2012. The center comprises three departments: the Youth Affairs Department, the Interests Education Department, and the Farming Department.
ARPC “Zeimuls” offers interest education programs for children and young people aged 4 to 25, all free of charge. These programs provide modern, high-quality educational opportunities that cater to various interests and needs.
The Youth Affairs Department promotes informal education, ensuring the operation of youth education centers like the Rēzekne City Youth Open Center “JACis” and the Rēzekne City Youth Initiative Center “Draugu Centrs.” These centers support youth initiatives, enhance life quality, and foster full growth among young people in the Rēzekne municipality.
